Yellow Chicken Soup cooked with vegetables (Soto ayam plus sayuran)


Here, I will share the recipe with you and maybe give you some ideas.

What you need :

--Ingredients A :
2 pieces chicken thigh
2 cup of water

--Ingredients B :
4 cloves small red onion, minced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon ground garlic
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
olive oil, for saute

--Ingredients C :
salt
1 pieces green onion
celery, sliced
carrot, sliced
cauliflower, sliced
potato, sliced
egg, hard boiled then sliced
lemon lime squeeze

Note : 1 US cup = 236.588237 ml

Make it :

English version
- In a pot, boil the chicken until cook under medium heat for approx 10 minutes. Drain the chicken and then cut into small chunk then put it to pot. Put it aside.
- Meanwhile, add Ingredients B with a little bit of olive oil, saute continues in a pan under low heat for approx 3 min.
- Put it into a pot, then add carrot, cauliflower, potato, mix it then boiled under low heat for approx 10 minutes.
- Add salt for taste, then add celery and onion.
- Turn off the heat, soup are ready to serve with steamed rice and put sliced egg on top of the soup ;-)

Indonesian version
1. Rebus daging ayam dibahan A, untuk mendapatkan kuah kaldu. Ayam bisa dipotong-2 kemudian dimasukkan lagi kedalam kuah atau dipisahkan kemudian disuwir-2 pada saat menghidangkan.
2. Tumis bahan B dengan sedikit air, menggunakan api sedang hingga bumbu harum.
3. Masukkan tumisan bumbu B kedalam kuah kaldu, masak menggunakan api sedang.
4. masukkan bahakan sayuran(carrot, cauliflower dan potato) hingga lunak, beri garam dan cicipi.
5. seledri dan bawang daun bisa dimasukkan kedalam kuali berisi kuah yg panas atau di sajikan di mangkuk.
6. sajikan soto bersama telur rebus iris plus air jeruk nipis :-)
