What you need :
- 2 pieces egg, hard boiled
- 100 gr beef, thinly sliced by 1/2 x 2-inches pieces
- sugar and salt as taste
- soy sauce
- oil for saute
- 1 cup water
- fried onion for garnish - available at asian store
-- Sauce ingredients (finely chopped):
- 4 clove shallot
- 2 clove garlic
- 4 pieces medium tomato
- 2 pieces candlenut
- 1/4 teaspoon ground galingale
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon sambal oeleg - as you wish
- 1/3 teaspoon tamarind
- 1/2 tablespoon cane sugar or sugar
Make it :
English version
1. Finely chopped sauce ingredients. Set aside.
2. In a hot sauce pan under medium heat, with a little bit of oil, saute sauce ingredients for approx 10 minutes or until aromatic.
3. Add meat, stirring occasionally until fully cook.
4. Add egg, soy sauce, salt and sugar for taste.
5. Saute and mix then add water.
6. Stirring occasionally under low heat until sauce dissolve.
7. Serve with garnish and hot steam rice.
Indonesian version
1. Campurkan bahan bumbu, uleg hingga halus.
2. Didalam wajan, dengan sedikit minyak, tumis bumbu dan irisan daging hingga bumbu beraroma dan daging berubah warna.
3. Tambahkan kecap dan air. Aduk rata.
4. Masukkan telur, dan tahu, aduk rata.
5. Tambahkan gula dan garam sebagai perasa.
6. Masak dengan api kecil hingga bumbu mengental dan tercampur rata dengan bahan lain.
7. Sajikan bersama nasi putih dan berikan bawang goreng.
