Mint Chocolate Chip Home-Made Ice Cream

You need ice cream maker to made this recipe. The ice cream maker help you and make more quicker to made the ice cream.

Here, I will share the recipe with you and maybe give you some ideas.

What you need :

2 cup of milk
2 cup of cream ( i did substitute with half & half milk)
1/2 tbsp vanilla
1/4 tbsp mint extract
3 eggs
1 cup of sugar
a few drops of green food coloring(optional)
1/4 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips (or shaved chocolate)

Make it :

English Version
1. Take the Chillfast alumunium cylinder out of the freezer for another 5 hours or more.
2. Beat eggs and milk together in a large saucepan.
3. Add sugar, cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened or for approx. 10 minutes.
4. Mixture should smoothy coat the spoon.
5. Add mint extract and semi-sweet mini chocolate chips or shaved chocolate. Stir.
6. Pouring the ice cream base into the frozen cylinder and turn it clockwise slowly three or four hours.
7. Let the mixture sit for 2 or 3 minutes and turn the handle clockwise again for two or three times and continue this procedure for 15-20 minutes.
8. Refrigenerate overnight.


Indonesia Version
1. Letakkan Alumunium Cylinder kedalam freezer selama minimal 5 jam.
2. Dengan menggunakan cake mixer, kocok telur dan susu + half & half milk.
3. Tambahkan gula, kocok dengan low heat selama 10 menit hingga smoothy.
4. Tambahkan vanila, mint extract dan chocolate chips.
5. Masukkan adonan kedalam Alumunium Cylinder, kemudian aduk-2 dengan putaran arah jam setiap 2 ato 3 menit selama 15-20 menit.
6. Kemudian letakkan kedalam Freezer selama semalam, dan ice cream siap dihidangkan :-)
