Hot & Sour Soup


"Hot & Sour Soup" is one of our favorite dishes to ordered in Chinese's Restaurant.
This food easy & quick for cooking also have yummy taste ;-)

Here, I will share the recipe with you and maybe give you some ideas.

What you need :

5 cup of water
2 chicken bouillon cubes 
3 onz tofu, cube sliced
6 teaspoon soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp sesame oil 
2 onz beef or chicken, cube sliced 
1/3 c bamboo shoots 
2 stalks green onion, sliced ring pieces 
2 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon corn starch, dissolve with 2 tablespoon of water
1 big egg 
chili oil & pepper


Make it :

English version
1. Chop the meat into the tiny, put into bowl and add 1 tsp soy sauce and 1 tsp sesame oil.
2. Cover the bowl and palce into refrigenerator about 20 minutes.
3. In a sauce pan, boiled water, and when the water is boiled, add chicken bouillon and marinated meat and stir it until disolve.
4. Next add tofu, bamboo shoot, green onion, remaining soy sauce and sesame oil, sugar and salt.
5. Turn heat down into medium low.
6. Let the soup simmer about 10 minutes also.
7. When the soup simmer, in a bowl mix corn starch and 2 tbsp of water.
8. Slowly add this mixture into the soup and stirring it as you go and let it shimmer for another 5 minutes until thicken and slightly.
9. When the soup shimmer, crack the egg into the small bowl and beated well.
10. Slowly add the egg to the soup and give a few gentle stir.
11. Let the soup shimmer for another minutes also until the egg cooked.
12. Serve the soup. Top of with green onion, and little bit of pepper and pour with chilli oil.

Indonesian version
1. Potong kecil-2 daging, masukkan kedalam mangkuk, tambahkan 1 tsp soy sauce dan 1 tsp sesame oil.
2. Tutup mangkuk dan masukkan kedalam kulkas dan biarkan selama 20 menit.
3. Di dalam panci, rebus air, masukkan daging dan chicken bouillon. Aduk rata dan biarkan hingga mendidih.
4.Kemudian masukkan tofu, bamboo shoot, green onion, sisa soy sauce dan sesame oil, gula dan garam. Masak menggunakan api kecil, dan biarkan selama 10 menit.
5. Setelah sup mendidih, didalam mangkuk kecil campurkan tepung maizena dan 2 sdt air.
6. Masukkan perlahan kedalam sup, aduk perlahan, dan biarkan mendidih selama 5 menit.
7. Setelah mendidih, didalam mangkuk, pecahkan dan kocok telur.
8. Masukkan telur kedalam sup, aduk perlahan, biarkan selama beberapa saat hingga telur masak sempurna.
9. Sajikan sup dengan potongan bawang daun, merica bubuk dan chilli oil (banyaknya sesuai selera). Enjoy ;-)
