What you need :
- 100 gram rice noodles, boiled in hot water
- 1 stalk green onion, thinly slice
- 1 stalk celery, thinly slice
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cup water or chicken broth
- salt
- pepper
- bok choy
--steamed dumplings(siomay) ingredients :
- 2 teaspoon all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon corn starch
- salt and ground pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, shredded
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot
- wonton wraps
- 1 egg
- 1 stalk green onion, sliced thinly.
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Make it :
English version
1. Combine and mix well wonton ingredients into a bowl. Don't forget to taste.
2. To fill the wontons, lay one won ton skin in front of you.Moisten all the edges of the won ton wrapper with water. Place a heaping teaspoon of won ton filling in the center.
Fold the wonton wrapper in half lengthwise, making sure the ends meet. Press down firmly on the ends to seal. Repeat with remaining wontons.
3. Place into prepared steamer, steam for 10 minutes. Set aside.
4. Meanwhile, in a pot bring broth into broil. Add garlic and onion. Let it cook for another 5 minutes.
5. Add noodles, cook until almost tender. Add bok choy, salt and pepper. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
6. Transfer to serving bowl and add wonton. Serve hot :-)
Indonesian version
Siomay Directions :
1. campurkan bahan wortel+ kapri + telur+ garam + bawang putih parut + tepung terigu + maizena, ini menjadi adonan isi siomay.
2. taruh adonan siomay dgn sendok kecil kedalam kulit siomay.
3. gunakan air sebagai perekat kulit siomay.
4. kukus.
soup directions :
1. tumis bawang bombay hingga harum, kemudian campurkan kedalam kaldu ayam yg sudah dibuat sebelumnya.
2. rebus hingga ayam+bumbu tercampur. masukkan garam + cicipi.
3. masukkan sayuran kedalam kuah, rebus sebentar, angkat dan sajikan.
4. sajikan kwetiau + siomay + kuah, taburi dengan seledri dan daun bawang + saus sambal botol :-)
