Vermicelli and Mushroom Soup with Meatballs

This is another way to make and serve meatballs.

Here, I will share the recipe with you and maybe give you some ideas.

What you need :

Meatballs
- 1/4 lb ground beef
- salt 
- ground pepper
- 2 tablespoon corn starch
- 1/3 cup cold water

Soup :
- 3 cloves shallots, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
- salt
- pepper
- 1/2 cup Shitake mushroom
- 1 stalk green onion, thinly slice
- 1 teaspoon butter for saute
- 2 cup chicken broth
- vermicelli

Make it :

1. In a pan, bring water to boil. Combine meatballs ingredients to bowl. Mix thoroughly. Shape into 1-inch ball. Place into boil water until meatball is float. Set aside.
2. Meanwhile in a hot skillet, saute garlic, onion and shallot with butter for 2-3 minutes.
3. In a pan, bring water to boil, then add saute garlic, onion and shallot and add sliced green onion and celery. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
4. Add vermicelli and mushroom. Let cook until vermicelli tender enough.
5. Adjust taste with salt and pepper.
6. Transfer to serving bowl with meatballs, serve hot and add chili sauce if you desire for hot taste :-)

Preparation : 5 minutes
Cooking : 20 minutes

Servings : 2 servings
