Rawon Instant ( Indonesian's Black Beef Soup )

Here, I will share the recipe with you and maybe give you some ideas.

What you need :

- 1 pack Indofood Rawon Instant seasoning mix
- 300 gr beef, thinly sliced for another 4x1-inches pieces
- 4 cloves shallots, thinly sliced
- 1 stalk green onion, sliced
- salt for taste
- 400 ml of water
- oil for saute

Complement Ingredients :
- fried onion, available at Asian Store
- bean sprout 
- chili sauce, if you wish spicy taste 

Make it :

English version
- Bring into boil of water, then add beef, let it simmer and until beef are tender.
- Meanwhile, in hot skillet with little bit of oil, saute shallots under low heat until aromatic or for approx 2 minutes.
- Then add the Indofood Rawon seasoning mix, saute gently for another 1 minutes.
- Pour and stirring gently with hot beef broth, add salt and green onion.
- Don't forget to taste and let it simmer for another 5 minutes or until seasoning mix well and dissolve.
- Serve hot with steam rice and another complements ingredients.

Indonesia version
- Rebus air hingga mendidih, masukkan daging, rebus hingga daging empuk.
- Didalam wajan panas, masukkan sedikit minyak untuk menumis bawang merah hingga harum.
- Masukkan bumbu Indofood Rawon Instant, aduk rata selama 1 menit.
- Campurkan dan didihkan bumbu bersama kuah daging, kemudian tambahkan garam dan bawang daun.
- Jangan lupa cicipi dan biarkan mendidih selama 5 menit atau hingga bumbu meresap.
- Sajikan panas bersama nasi putih dan bahan pelengkap.

Preparation : 5 minutes
Cooking : 15 minutes

Servings : 3-4 persons

    btw, aku juga masak kmrn rawon pake bumbu indofood hahaha...
    tp dagingnya masih kurang empuk. padahal aku presto tuh.. apa kurang lama ya mresto nya?

    bener juga, ntar deh minta suami/org-2 yg mencicipi plus commentnya ;-)

    Hmm coba pilih daging has karena ini jenis daging kelas 1 yang lebih cepat empuk.

    Coba bikin irisan daging lebih tipis biasanya membantu juga proses memasak.
